That’s why I strongly recommend professional well and septic inspections. In Virginia, the seller usually covers these inspections since they can involve digging or landscape disruption. However, you’ll want to review the video from the Virginia Department of Health and reports from Virginia Cooperative Extension on septic systems and alternative systems to decide if additional testing is worth the investment. A little extra due diligence now could save you thousands down the road! 💸
